Her Thirties. A time when a girl leaves crazy fashion experimentation behind and accepts the graceful woman that she is.
The Thirties. An era of ultra femininity and grace in women’s fashion.
These two examples from Erdem’s Resort 2010 collection echo both Thirties, albeit softly.
Draping isn’t dramatic, florals don’t flash but the silhouette screams for a graceful goddess. We accept.

It’s definitely a different silhouette. Accessories might help if you feel the look is too old for you. Long, beach-wave hair, lip gloss, a clunky funky shoe and a thousand Indian bangles would make it more fun while an updo, movie star lips, stud earrings, vintage clutch and heels would make it more sophisticated and serious. If you are bridging that gap – where you are not fully ready to embrace your 30s but want to start to let go of your 20s, do a little accessory mix from both examples. /J
They are beautiful, just not sure I could get out of my jeans and feel comfortable in them. I am in my early thirties and I would fear these would age me too much..but then maybe I am not being realistic about my style, am I clinging onto my twenties?
