The always en pointe, Fashion Institute of Technology Museum in NYC has another great exhibition on right now, entitled Fashion from the Inside Out, featuring the designs of Isabel Toledo.
The show which debuted in June, divides items by several themes that characterize Toledo’s body of work, including Organic Geometry, Liquid Architecture and Manipulated Surfaces.
Isabel has worn many jaunty hats throughout the years…here are a few.
Isabel as temptress…

Isabel as colourist…

Isabel as romantic…

Isabel as media maven…

Isabel as sculptor…

Isabel as English Victorian…

Isabel as architect…

Isabel as environmentalist….

The full online exhibition is worth exploring if you can’t make it to the Big Fashion Apple before September 26th.
