Statue of Liberty

The Brits are coming to America.

From Mod to the Midwest

Liberty of London – the adored UK retailer that normally calls a corner of Regent Street home, will be hopping on the high/low bandwagon to go Stateside.

Liberty is the new collaboration with Target.

The luxe Londoners known for their beautiful prints and high style, will be adorning your bed, back and beyond. The line is to include fashion for men, women and kids, home decor and more.

Look for Liberty items to hit Tarjhay, or in this case, Tah-git stores March 14th, 2010.

In an act of brotherly retail love and all that,  the London lot have selected a few of their faves from Target — fashion, home, babywear and bird houses (birdhouses???) — and will sell them in the London store from April – December.

Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, chief executive officer of Liberty quipped: “I love the idea of our heritage combined with a very cool retailer. Our theme next year is Flower Power, and that is really the spirit of the Target products.”

Sounds like retail power to me.
