Sølve Sundsbø is a superstar snapper. He not only snaps the modern equivalent of supermodels but is, in fact, a star amongst contemporary photogs today.
I adore his composition, the sense of curiosity in his photographs and of course, his trademark use of colour.
I thought the Morning Beauty shoot was an interesting way to showcase eye colour – against the starkness of Anja Rubik’s pale skin and blonde hair.
The shapes created by collarbones, hands, jawlines and shadows remind me of Brancusi sculptures. Beautiful, indeed.
See more glorious colour in his shoot with Karen Elson.
