Sometimes when I view the looks from a red carpet event, I wonder…
Did everyone coincidentally decide to wear a tikka head-piece or were all the stylists chatting at the Campari cooler (surely, celeb entourages can’t just be fed plain old water)?

You need a certain grace to pull off forehead adornment. Think Indian maharani or ancient goddess – not Hollywood/fashion celebrity. It is not for the faint of art.

If one goes, one must go all the way.

I loved Stella McCartney’s vintage Cartier hairpiece – it added a lovely swirl to an otherwise minimalist dress and shoes.

Old world charm works – especially when it comes to hairstyles at these events. I had a deja-veronica when I saw these three ladies.

But my fave hair had to be Ms. Kruger, who as always, worked that carpet like no one else. Wonder what films she’s actually been in lately?
