Bryan Ferry, C.B.E.

It was a family affair at Buckingham Palace today, as the gentlemen of the Ferry household gathered there for a special ceremony.

Bryan Ferry received a new title from Her Maj today: Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) – for this 40-year contribution to music.

Imagine their convo: "Philip and I just love Virgina Plain - will you do a set afterwards, Bry?" "Um, sure, Liz. Love to."

I think in his Roxy days, Bryan surely wore a suit, the colour of that ribbon.

Dandy. Will make for good cocktail party banter.

The whole lot of Ferrys came out to support their dapper dad, dressed like princes, of course.

Saville Row must have been booked this week, prepping the boys' suits...

It’s amazing how much Otis is starting to look like his dad, in his younger days.

Lanky lads - look at the break of those pants - all perfect.

I’ve always thought that Mr. Ferry was rock royalty, anyway.

Congratulations, sir. It’s most excellent news, indeed.

More rock star kids.
