The award for best Sunday Night Sponsorship Marketing goes to…Ralph Lauren.
The silver-haired designer (and marketer) extraordinaire stole the Golden Globes with a little red, white and black. The lovely Lupita Nyong’o, in a draped and caped red Ralph Lauren gown and Diane Keaton, in a made-to-measure RL suit were two of the most talked about (and my two favourite) looks of the night.




The RL crew had the multi-channel marketing thing covered.

Plus, across the channel on PBS, RL has been sponsoring Masterpiece Classic on Sunday nights since 2012, for a wee show called Downtown Abbey. (Naturally, I decamped to Downtown for the hour. As if.)
There you have it – your Sunday night, brought to you by Ralph Lauren.
Oh, and didn’t I tell you Lupita Nyong’o would be one to watch? She reigned the red carpet at TIFF this past September.
